If your Android phone thinks headphones are connected when they’re not, the quickest solution is to restart the phone, plug and unplug your headphones a few times, and clean the headphone jack to restore normal speaker function
Restart the Phone
A simple restart can reset temporary software glitches and refresh the audio output detection. Turn off your phone for at least 10 seconds, then turn it back on and check if the headphone icon disappears
Plug and Unplug Headphones
Insert the headphones fully into the jack, rotate gently, and unplug them. Repeat several times. This can help reset the internal sensor if it’s stuck in the halfway position
Clean the Headphone Jack
Dust, lint, or debris can trick the phone into thinking headphones are still connected. Power off the device and:
Use a thin swab lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol, a small brush, or compressed air to clean the jack.
Avoid inserting metal objects that could damage contacts
Check Bluetooth Settings
