In order for sunglasses to be sold in the USA, they need to block at least 99% of UVA and 99% of UVB light. They must state them on the glasses, and must have the documentation to back up the claim. It's doubtful all sunglasses have that documentation, so here are a few ways you can test your own sunglasses to see if they live up the claim.
