How to stop the spinning rainbow wheel on Mac:
Force quit your apps
Apple icon – Force Quit. Select the app that won’t respond and click Force Quit.
Run maintenance
⚡️ Use Performance in CleanMyMac to help your Mac run smoothly: bit.ly/3APrkwo
Reduce your CPU usage
Go to Activity Monitor. Review the active processes and quit those you don’t need.
Free up some disk space
Go to System Settings – General – Storage. Click the info icon to review each storage category and see what you can remove to save space.
Close background apps
Go to System Settings – General – Login Items & Extensions. Check the apps under Allow in the Background and turn off anything you no longer need.
