The next big inheritance story may not be about money but about the things we leave behind.

For many families, losing a loved one also means facing a house full of photos, furniture, holiday decorations, and boxes filled with memories. The process typically happens while they're grieving.

New research calls the process the 'Great Junk Transfer'. It finds many people feel guilty or obligated to keep items they don't actually want.

ARC Seattle co-anchors Steve McCarron and Holly Menino spoke with Brian Scudamore, Founder and CEO of 1-800-GOT JUNK, to get advice on how families can start these tough conversations.
