In this video I explain, step by step, how to start drawing, using light and shade and tone. I start by showing how to hold a pencil and use graphite before explaining how to start a drawing by using simple shapes, drawn with a very light line so mistakes can be easily corrected. These basic techniques are used to show how easy it is to draw a tea cup and make it look three dimensional.
