Here's how to start a conversation with anyone ✨

Open with a context cue - does their drink look tasty? Is the restaurant unique? Do you both know the host? Ask about something you can see.
Don't EVER ask: "What do you do?"
Do ask: "Working on anything exciting these days?"
Only talk about the weather if it's good and is the reason you have fun plans coming up.
On a Monday ask them:
"Do anything fun and exciting this past weekend?"
On a Friday, ask:
"Have any fun plans coming up this weekend?"
Whenever someone says something interesting say:
"Tell me more?" - the easiest way to show genuine curiosity.
