In the full video, I pattern a sports corset from an 1890s fashion corset, using plenty of extant examples, including a sneak peak that I got from a real life Ferris Good Sense Waist.
I decide which features of the sports corset I want to keep, and then figure out how to alter my existing corset pattern (Symington 18788) to accommodate those changes.
I will attempt to show you guys my personal process for modifying corset patterns, based off of… well basically ZERO experience and some common sense, and all would have gone well except for some silly errors that were made along the way.
