Learn how to slip stitches to create columns of elongated stitches or create an i-cord edge as you work! This video covers slipping stitches on the RS, the WS and at the edges.

Abbreviations:
- sl: slip a stitch purlwise
- wyib: with yarn in back
- wyif: with yarn in front

If you want to follow along for practice I have used a worsted weight yarn and a US 8 (5mm), 24” / 60 cm circular needle. I have cast on 36 stitches.

Rows 1-4: Knit to last 3 sts, sl3 wyif.
Row 5 (RS): K3, p8, sl1 wyib, p12, k1, p8, sl3 wyif.
Row 5 (WS): K11, sl1 wyif, k12, p1, k8, sl3 wyif.

Rep [Rows 5 and 6] to practice all 3 skills.
