Signed With Heart | How To Sign Have in American Sign Language ASL @signedwithheart | Uploaded August 2019 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
This video shows how to sign “Have” in American Sign Language (ASL). The sign for “have” is generally a two-handed sign but can also be signed with just one hand. Sometimes we sign with just one hand because we are holding something in the other hand, sometimes because most other signs we sign are one-handed signs so it just comes natural that we would sign with just one hand for the two-handed signs too. 🙃
I wanted to show you the one-handed version for “have” so that you would learn to recognize “have” when signed one-handed.
For beginners, I encourage you to sign “have” with both hands just to be clear until it becomes natural that you would sign it with just one hand sometimes.
