How To Sign A PDF File For FREE - How To Add A Signature To PDF Forms For FREE
In this video, I will be showing you how to electronically sign a PDF file using a free online tool called Fill And Sign A PDF Tool by Adobe Acrobat. In this continuously evolving digital age, adding a digital signature to e-sign documents is becoming common practice, especially in the remote working environment. E-signing a document is becoming more and more equally weighted to a traditional handwritten signature on paper documents in a lot of regions. Therefore, it is important to know how to digitally sign a document to take full advantage of the ability to sign a document from anywhere.

Steps To Add A Signature To A PDF File For Free:
1. Open up your browser and navigate to the following URL address adobe.com/acrobat/online/sign-pdf.html
2. Drag and drop a PDF file into the box to use the Fill And Sign A PDF Tool or click Select a file and open your PDF file
3. If you have an Adobe account already, click on Continue with Adobe, if you don't, click on Create a free account to sign up to Adobe
4. Once you have signed into your Adobe account, click on the pencil icon next to the box containing your Adobe accounts name (on the left) to edit your signature
5. You can add an esignature to your document using one of the three available methods: Type, Draw, and Image
Type: Allows you to sign your PDF by typing in your own name
Draw: Allows you to sign your PDF by drawing your signature using your mouse (computer) or finger (mobile device)
Image: Allows you to select an image from your device to be your signature.
6. If you chose "Type" click "clear" to delete the pre-filled signature text
7. Type in your e-signature
8. Click Save
9. Click on the area of your document you want your signature to appear on
10. Adjust the size of your signature by left clicking on the circle next to the box containing your signature. Hold your click and drag it to the right to make it bigger or to the left to make it smaller.
11. Once you have adjusted the size of your signature, adjust its location one last time and once you're happy with both the size and the location, click on Download at the top right hand side
12. Once your esigned PDF document has been downloaded, if you're on Google Chrome web browser, click on the arrow at the bottom left next to your PDF download and then click on Show in folder
13. A new window will open in the location of your signed PDF file that you just downloaded
14. Open the signed PDF file by double clicking on it to view it in a PDF reader.
