In this video, you will learn how to host the Ollama app on a Kamatera cloud VPS (virtual private server). I'll also show you how to use free cloud models using Ollama cloud without a subscription and create a static one page responsive website using OpenCode AI coding agent integrated with Ollama.

Steps to Deploy Ollama on Kamatera:
1. Create a free Kamatera account using my affiliate link kamatera.sjv.io/c/1245219/3733305/36439
2. Create a new server in a zone of your choice and select your server specifications
3. Select the Ollama app from the Apps images list and choose a suitable version
4. Login to your Kamatera VPS using an SSH client. I used Windows cmd for this video, however you can use any alternative such as Kamatera console or the terminal app for MacOS and Linux. Use the following command if using a native client on your local device and not Kamatera's web console:
ssh root@Your_Server_IP_Address
5. Run the below commands in order:
systemctl status ollama
ollama list
ollama pull [Model_Name]
For example:
ollama pull deepseek-v4-flash:cloud
ollama list
ollama signin
6. Copy and paste the Ollama connect link into your browser to add your device key (Ollama app VPS device key) to your Ollama account
Sign up to Ollama if you don't have an account or sign in using your account
7. Click Connect
8. Continue executing the below commands in order:
curl -fsSL opencode.ai/install | bash
ollama launch opencode
9. Select a free LLM such as nemotron-3-super:cloud
10. Prompt OpenCode AI coding agent to generate a site using the following example prompt:
Build a 1 page static and responsive website about a nail salon called Gloss. Deploy the website on a Nginx server on the VPS IP address you are running on. Once complete send me the link to view it on my local computers browser.
11. When prompted by OpenCode, give the necessary permissions to deploy your website.
12. When site generation has completed, paste in the http://Your_VPS_IP link into your computers browser to view it live
Miscellaneous things:
• Press Ctrl+P when OpenCode is running to change models to use OpenCode's free model tokens instead of Ollama's
• To exit out of OpenCode type /exit
• To use a different Ollama cloud model rerun the command:
ollama launch opencode
Congratulations, you have successfully installed Ollama on Kamatera and build an site using OpenCode using Ollama clouds free token cloud usage.
