Here is a beautiful shopping bag for you to sew for yourself or give as gifts. It sews up wonderfully with perfect flat curved edges that are top stitched. All seams are enclosed for a more professional looking bag.
It's a good size with large enough handles to wear it over your shoulder.
This step by step video includes instructions on how to make the pattern, how to do French seams & box corners and a mini drawstring bag that is sewn into the seam inside the large shopping bag.

Cutting mat

Rotary cutter for paper and one for fabric
Fabric scissors
paper scissors
Pen or pencil, sharpie markers
Aprox. 11” (28 cm) plate or anything round to make your curve
Tape measure
2” (5.1 cm) bottle or something round to make smaller curve
Enough fabric to make an extra lining if you are making the 2nd bag.
2 - 18” (45.7cm) pieces of macrame cord or ribbon.

2yds (1.6 m) quilting cotton 44-45 (111.8-114.3cm) width pre washed.
