Hi, I've just finished sewing a cushion with piping and an invisible zip. It was so easy to stitch with the piping as I had a piping foot for my sewing machine which I purchased from Amazon. I used self made bias binding to wrap around the piping cord. These cushion covers were sewn as a gift and each had an invisible zip.
