Behind the scenes look into over head shots and how simple they are to achieve great results. The subject of todays over head is a camera that a truly love, the bmpccOG.
These BMPCC OG is getting stupidly expensive now. So in this video I go over, what you should pay, how to protect your investment, some shooting tips and postproduction hacks to get the most from the camera.
I have used a wide variety of lenses ranging from super budget 7artisans, to Arles Vista primes to create this content.
Blackmagic Design's Pocket Cinema Camera OG HD was released way back in 2013. Since then, it has developed a real following. Over the past year, I have rediscovered how much fun it it is to film with. It's so simple to use, navigate and understand.
Most of this video was shot documentary style, handheld, no gimbals and available light. I used a variety of lenses, to show how different quality lenses render final images on the s16mm dual gain output Fairchild sensor.
Some footage has been left clean, just a REC709 conversion. Other footage has been graded and stabilised before a film simulation (film look creator / dehancer / filmconvert) has been applied.
