OmniXtend is an open memory fabric standard that enables innovation in data center architectures, purpose built compute acceleration and CPU micro-architecture. No longer does the main memory of a system have to be controlled by a CPU, with OmniXtend multiple devices can coherently share the cache memory. We have achieved a milestone by demonstrating this cache coherent fabric working through an Ethernet Switch.
