One of my favorite projects this year was putting together our new RTA Outdoor Living outdoor kitchen with my three sons — Jack, Walter, and Michael.
Laurel organized the plan for everyone to meet at 9:30 on Saturday morning. We had about a five-hour window of decent weather, so we got right to it. The kitchen comes packaged in assembly order, which made things move smoothly once we laid everything out.
The boys weren’t just extra hands — they helped think through the steps, read the directions, and pulled up the instructional videos using the QR codes on the packaging. Between the four of us, we had the cabinets assembled, the countertop installed, and the Coyote outdoor appliances set before the rain moved in.
A solid day’s work, and a project I won’t forget. Now we get to enjoy it the way it’s meant to be used — cooking and hanging out outside by the grill.
