To restore an Android phone's screen color to normal, adjust the display settings by selecting the default or “Normal” screen/color mode and disable any features like Night Light, Blue Light filters, or accessibility color adjustments.
Step 1: Check Display Color Mode
Go to Settings Display Screen Mode or Color Mode.
Look for options such as Normal, Default, or Standard and select it. Many phones default to modes like Vivid, Adaptive, or Boosted, which can oversaturate or tint colors, so switching back to Normal restores neutrality
Step 2: Disable Night Light and Blue Light Filters
Navigate to Settings Display.
Turn off Night Light, Eye Comfort Shield, or Blue Light Filter. These features add a warm yellow or orange tint to reduce eye strain, which can make your screen appear discolored
Step 3: Check Accessibility Settings
Open Settings Accessibility Color and Motion (or Visibility Enhancements depending on your phone).
Turn off Color Correction, Color Inversion, and High Contrast Text. These settings can drastically change how screen colors are displayed if enabled unintentionally
Step 4: Adjust White Balance or Color Temperature
Some manufacturers provide a color temperature slider in the Display settings. Center the slider or choose Default/Factory to restore neutral tones. Avoid extreme warm or cool settings while troubleshooting
