How to see Mt Fuji from Tokyo - secret location near city centre in Shinjuku, Tokyo
When you are in Tokyo there are many locations to see Mt Fuji in all its glory. One location is is easily reached from central Tokyo. It is near SHINJUKU at HATAGAYA train station. Watch this video for a specific guide on how to get here. BUT .... you can only see Mt Fuji if the weather is fine and sunny .. please remember this.
Hatagaya station area, train corridor and footbridge.
Just west of Hatagaya Station 幡ヶ谷駅, the Keio New Line 京王新線 emerges from underground and moves southwest, directly facing Mt. Fuji. You can see Fuji from the road that parallels the train tracks, but for a slightly better view you can climb the pedestrian bridge that crosses the tracks.
