I'm revisiting this topic from a video I made several years ago to serve as a quick refresher for those who are new and veteran to the PS2 modding/homebrew scene. This assumes you have a method to launch homebrew programs on your PS2.
This tutorial shows how to use OPL Manager v22.3 to scrape cover art, which will put it into the "ART" folder whether that is on your USB, ps2 hard drive, or SMB shared folder. In OPL, make sure to enable the cover art settings, and you are good to go. Enjoy!

In my previous PS2 on CFW PS3 tutorial, we had to go through a long and cumbersome process with reACTPSN and also with ps2 classic conversion.
Todays tutorial goes away from all of that. Starting with Rebug 4.76 and higher (CEX or DEX), you can simply rip your PS2 games to ISO, create a virtual memory card, and just play.
Dualshock 3 controller works via wireless and everything else just plays great. Enjoy!

Great news for PS3 users. If you have a jailbreakable PS3 (CECH-25xx December 2010 and lower), you can now install CFW 4.82 from OFW 4.82 by taking your PS3 to a special website and run the software downgrade through the PS3 web browser.
I have not personally tried this yet, but I know on reddit there are users who can confirm this works. If you have a PS3 and you are ready to try this, leave a comment and let us know how it works!
