Today's tutorial is for those who are still fortunate enough to have a 5.05 PS4 system. I will showcase the PS4 Back Porter v1.4 program made by Modded Warfare, and show how simple it is to create backport patches for your favorite games.
I cannot guarantee the program will work for all games, so if it doesn't, then maybe its time to consider to update to 6.72. Today's example showcases Marvel's Spider-Man and it works great on 5.05! Enjoy!
Note: I still like to use the USB method to install my package files. If you prefer the network method and install your package files using the remote installer, by all means go ahead!

In my previous PS2 on CFW PS3 tutorial, we had to go through a long and cumbersome process with reACTPSN and also with ps2 classic conversion.
Todays tutorial goes away from all of that. Starting with Rebug 4.76 and higher (CEX or DEX), you can simply rip your PS2 games to ISO, create a virtual memory card, and just play.
Dualshock 3 controller works via wireless and everything else just plays great. Enjoy!

Great news for PS3 users. If you have a jailbreakable PS3 (CECH-25xx December 2010 and lower), you can now install CFW 4.82 from OFW 4.82 by taking your PS3 to a special website and run the software downgrade through the PS3 web browser.
I have not personally tried this yet, but I know on reddit there are users who can confirm this works. If you have a PS3 and you are ready to try this, leave a comment and let us know how it works!

A youtube subscriber in the past asked for help on how to play SEGA CD games with Retroarch on the PS3, specifically Snatcher.
Todays tutorial will show you exactly that. Some tips noted below:
1) Make sure to have Retroarch installed. Links below.
2) You will need to find some Sega CD games/roms. Google can help here.
3) Lastly, you need to find the SEGA CD bios, and have it renamed as bios_CD_U.bin. Put this in the system folder that is under patch dev_hdd0/game/SSNE10000/USRDIR/cores/system/
