Had to take it to the track for one of my all time favorite workouts to improve my 5K time: 10 x 400m intervals with 60s rest! This helped give me the extra confidence I needed the week of my goal race. These are great for dialing in race pace and developing stride efficiency. By running faster than 5K pace, 5k pace will begin to feel slow and you will be able to run a faster 5K race.
