Reversing with a caravan or trailer can seem daunting for the first time. In this video I explain the process of reversing and how the towing vehicles steering affects the trailer. I also give lots of useful tips to make reversing with trailers easier and less stressful.
I’d always recommend taking the time to practice reversing your trailer but in this video I also show a great low cost simulator app for practicing at home. The “Reverse My Trailer” app is available on Apple and Android mobile devices as well as a Windows PC version. It is currently less than £2 to buy so well worth trying.

A trailer reversing camera is also a useful accessory to have to help you reverse and I have a video on how a low-cost reversing camera can be fitted to most caravans WITHOUT having to drill any holes in the body work. youtu.be/LUmCavl85eA
