How to Replace Korky Toilet Fill Valve Replacement Cap | Part number: R528

Hello and welcome to Korky Toilet Repair. Today we are going to show you how to install your new fill valve replacement cap. The first step is to shut off your water supply. Then, flush your toilet to drain the excess water. Remove the refill tube from the fill valve. To remove the valve cover, place your thumb under the tab and pull up. Remove the float by gently pinching the float arms together. Hold the valve body with one hand and twist the cap counter-clockwise 1/8 turn to remove. Now install the new cap by twisting clockwise to lock it on the fill valve. To reattach the float, pinch the float arms in and clip them to the valve body. Tap the top of the float to make sure the float moves freely and does not scrape on the side of the float chamber. Snap the valve cover back into place. Ensure the valve is locked into place by turning it clockwise. Reattach the refill tube to the fill valve. Clip the refill tube to the overflow tube. Turn your water supply back on to complete the service.
