The brake on aircraft must withstand huge loads during braking after landing such as weight of the aircraft and of course it must slow down from between 130 and 140 knots (240 - 260km/h) to taxi speed. Each brake will survive from 500-900 landings which of course depends of runways and they length because on shorter runway pilots need tu brake harder to slow down.
