How to replace battery in a Hobart Champion Elite Engine Welder
The battery in my Hobart Champion Elite welder finally gave out and had to replace it. The welder uses a group 58 battery and takes around 30 minutes to replace. I used the Traveller T-58 from Tractor supply, normal price is $134.99. A 1/2" socket and 3/8" socket is what it takes to remove the cover off the Hobart Champion Elite Engine Welder. This is a some what short tutorial and I take my time while I clean parts and hope I covered most of what it takes to replace the battery.
