How to hammer crimping 1/0 welding cables or car amplifier wires. Temco TH0007
I picked up this hammer crimping tool by Temco for a solar battery system install that we needed to crimp thick cables. I will show how the Temco TH0007 Hammer Crimping tool works in this video. I am using 1/0 crimp terminals on 1/0 cable made for welding and automotive use.
Instructions per Temco Website
STEP 1 Place terminal in jaw of crimper. Place stripped wire in terminal.
STEP 2 With crimper on solid surface, strike crimp ram with hammer 1-2 times.
STEP 3 When hammer impact feels solid, the crimp is complete.
