In this video we go over how to fix a furnace or air handler that has a blown low voltage 3 amp fuse. This often can happen when a thermostat is replaced or moved when the wires get shorted out and or because of rodent and mice damage to wires in an outdoor air conditioner electrical compartment. You can sometimes replace the 3a fuse with a 5amp one if the manufacturer permits and this would be specified in the owners manual. Why does my 3a furnace control board fuse keep blowing?
