Here I explain the process of changing a standard keyless lamp holder light socket over to one that has both pull chain and a built in outlet or receptacle.
I also go over a few things that you should consider before doing this such as considering if you will need to add a GFCI breaker to protect the receptacle if is is to be outdoors or in an unfinished / damp location.
