About this video: How can you refund a game on Steam? Well, this video shows you exactly how to get a steam refund.
First off though, what is Steam’s refund policy? Well, the official policy is that you have to have played the game less than 2 hours, and that you must have purchased it within the last 14 days.
However, you can submit a refund request outside of the above hours, and in some cases, Steam may still refund the game.
So how do we actually get a refund on Steam? Start off by clicking your username in the top right of Steam. Select “Account Details”.
Then, click “View Purchase History”. You will see all of your Steam purchases here. Click on the game you want to refund. Choose “I would like a refund” from the list of issues you may have making a purchase.
On the next page, click “I’d like to request a refund”. Choose your refund reason, enter any additional info needed, and request the refund.
Steam will then email you after your request is reviewed.
