If you are planning long-distance motorcycle travel and want a clear, structured understanding of what it really requires, I organized everything into my course “Adventure Riding WITHOUT Illusions.”
It brings together the physical cost, mental pressure, money decisions, planning traps, and long-term sustainability behind serious motorcycle travel, based on more than 400,000 km across multiple continents.

If your hands are going numb after an hour of riding, the problem is usually not you — it’s the bike. Motorcycle vibration becomes a serious issue on long trips, especially on single-cylinder and adventure bikes. In this video, I explain what actually causes vibrations, which ones are unavoidable, and which ones you can realistically fix.
This is not a video about miracle products, foam grips, or magic solutions. It’s about simple physics, worn parts, and bad setups - and how to deal with them properly.
In this video, I cover:
• Why single-cylinder motorcycles vibrate more
• Exhaust mounting mistakes that cause massive vibration
• Missing handlebar weights
• Tire and wheel balance problems
• Worn wheel bearings
• Chain and sprocket issues
• Chain sliders
• Foot peg rubber
• RPM reduction with gearing changes
• Handlebar risers with vibration dampers
Some vibrations are unavoidable. Others are not. The key is knowing the difference. Fix the bike first. Accessories come later.
