This is a response video to a video I saw about how to read 1000 books a year from a guy who doesn't really read 1000 books a year at all. He spends a lot of time claiming that people get a sense of superiority from "finishing" lots of books when they shouldn't. I start by explaining how I would approach the topic of how to actually read (and finish) 1000 books a year, then I look at the points he made in his video one by one and pointing out the flaws in his logic (and some of the dishonesty therein).
