One of the most confused vowel sounds for non-native speakers of English is the sound created by the letter A. Almost every language in the world considers this sound an 'AH' sound (like the English WASH).

It's tricky for many non-native speakers and hopefully the pronunciation tips in this video will help you move toward a more natural and native accent in American English!
