This new mini series aimed at native Spanish speakers is just the first lesson of 3 that will help you improve your understanding of North American pronunciation. In this video, we start with the most common pronunciation (or mispronunciation) of the letter O.

While there are many variations of accents and regional uses, we can sound more native in English with this open pronunciation. O is one of the most versatile vowels in English and can be pronounced with almost every vowel sound, but we find that when O is the only vowel OR the stressed vowel, we hear this 'AH' pronunciation most often.
