Thinking about trying a dry-pour concrete slab? Don’t.
Like a lot of people, I kept seeing videos online about dry-pour concrete, so I decided to try it for the larger section of my outdoor kitchen slab. While the slab did end up looking decent and has held up so far, the process was way more work, a lot messier, and honestly not something I’d want to do again.
At the end of the day, I just don’t have the same confidence in the strength and consistency of a dry-pour slab. If you’re planning to pour concrete, my advice is simple: stick with the traditional wet pour method. It’s proven, reliable, and gives you much better peace of mind.
