One of the biggest complaints I got from beta testers for SMTKO was "Ruka's Beach is boring," or "Ruka's Beach needs more time." I refused to change it, because I love this level!
The biggest problem with the hate for it is that people aren't quite playing it right. If you play it straight through, it's not that great. The fun experience comes from getting everything at once. There are two easy 1-ups in this level, and you can get them within the time provided.
If I can get everything in this level and still win with 46 seconds left, this level needs LESS time, if anything! So, I present, how to play Ruka's Beach (and have fun doing it).
