Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. Today's painting is actually one of my new favourite pieces for my light in motion collection. I'm not sure if it turned out the way I imagined it, but it's supposed to be resemble lights flashing past you when you are speeding through the city.
Oftentimes, I feel that time flies by too quickly. In my mind, I am still 18. Maybe 18 is stretching it, 25, perhaps. But the rest of reality flew by in a blink of an eye, as if I've been teleported 10 years ahead in time and I'm still a little dazed.
I guess the key is to cherish the moment and live life to the fullest. Like there's no tomorrow, the extremist in me would say lol. Granted, age and time has also toned me down by miles.
What I'm really trying to say here, before I completely lose the plot is that this painting is inspired by speed and time. The pink rose could be you, or me, or anybody for that matter, watching the world pass by.
I've been wanting to insert a monarch butterfly and I finally had a chance for this piece.
This painting took forever to paint, artworks like this requires a little bit of an engineering moment. How do I begin, where do I start, what should I add and the list goes on. Nearly gave up but I'm glad I persevered.
I was debating if i wanted to do a voice over for the tutorial due to encouraging comments from the lot of you, but I also want to play music for this, as if I'm DJing through my own artworks.
