Angela Fehr Watercolour | How to Overcome a Creative Block in Watercolor @angelfehr | Uploaded April 2019 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
After time away from painting, it can be hard to get started again. There are a few things you can do to ease back into your creative zone and get inspiration flowing again, and the number one thing is just to come and paint. Don't "make a painting," just plan to paint, to be present in the process, and let the paint move without expectations.
Learning to be more present in the process will strengthen your ability to paint more intuitively, to express your personal style and put more "you" in your paintings.
