In this video I show how to mix some mortar which is being used to lay a concrete block wall. Getting the right consistency of mortar can be difficult, but with practice you will be able to mix mortar that will make laying blocks or bricks much easier. It’s important to add a plasticiser to the gauging water, as this makes the mortar much easier to work with.
