Can stress about healthy eating actually make it harder to heal?
Surprisingly, yes.
One of the biggest challenges I see in people trying to reverse autoimmune disease isn't just what they're eating—it's the anxiety they're carrying about every bite of food.
They're worried they'll eat the wrong thing.
They're worried their labs aren't improving fast enough.
They're worried they'll never get better.
The problem is that chronic stress doesn't just affect your mood. It affects your body.
Stress increases inflammation, disrupts sleep, impacts your immune system, and can make it harder for your body to do the repair work you're trying so hard to support with nutrition.
That's why I teach that healing is about more than food.
Hyper-Nourishment provides your body with the raw materials it needs to repair damage and support healthy immune function. But you also have to give your body an environment where healing can happen.
That means:
• Nourishing yourself with the right foods.
• Releasing unnecessary fear around food.
• Prioritizing joy, laughter, gratitude, and self-care.
• Trusting your body to do what it was designed to do.
Eat the food. Then let the food do its job.
In this video, I explain why reducing stress about healthy eating may actually help you heal faster—and how I coach people through this every day.
