Alfie Joey is a communicator polymath. He’s a multi-talented broadcaster, comedian, writer and illustrator.
He is perhaps best known for his 12+ years as the host of the flagship BBC Newcastle Breakfast Show. And believe it or not, he spent 15 years living a monastic life prior to changing lanes and entering media.
Since leaving the BBC in 2022, Alfie’s star has shined even brighter as a keynote speaker, event host, speaking consultant & comedy coach. Most recently, he was recognised as ‘Communicator of the Year’ by the Chartered Institute for Public Relations.
He has been a member of the TDC community for a decade now so we’re incredibly pleased to have him on stage this year for the first time. He’ll be taking his decades of experience as a supercommunicator to offer his insights on how to make an impression.
