Hello, welcome to EZ Eatery. Today we are making New England clam chowder in the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Pressure Cooker! You will be enjoying a nice bowl of clam chowder in under half an hour from start to finish, with this pressure cooker. It is so easy and so delicious and that is exactly how we like it. Quick and easy meals.
New England Clam Chowder
3 6.5 oz Clams (reserve juice)
5 Slices Bacon (chopped)
3 TBSP Butter
1 Small Onion (diced)
2-3 Celery Stalks (diced)
1/4 tsp Thyme
2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
3/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
4 Russet Potatoes (peeled and diced)
1 1/3 C Half and Half
2 TBSP Instant Potatoes
Turn the pressure cooker on to the saute function. Add the chopped bacon. Cook until fat has rendered out. Remove 1 TBSP and grease. Add butter, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper. Mix together. Add potatoes and clam juice into pot. Mix all together. Pressure cook on high for 4 minutes. Let sit for 4 minutes after pressure has been released. Mash up some of those potatoes. I like to leave some of them chunky. Add in clams and half and half. Mix together. Add instant potatoes to thicken, if needed. Let sit for for just a few minutes. That is it! Enjoy! Garnish with bacon bits, chives, add a bit of hot sauce in for some heat.
