Hello, welcome to EZ Eatery! Today we are making a super easy roast beef, or pot roast, in the Ninja Foodi. This set it and forget it dinner, couldn't be any easier and oh my gosh, is it ever tender, flavorful, and mouth wateringly delicious! You are definitely going to want to try this in your Ninja Foodi.
I used the slow cooker function for today's recipe, but this could be done even quicker and easier using the pressure cooker. To cook a 1.78 lb roast, it took 4 hours on high. If you'd like to pressure cook it, it will only take 1.5 hours with a natural release to achieve the same wonderful results.
Roast Beef With Potatoes and Carrots
1 Beef Chuck Tender Roast
1 Pkg Au Jus Seasoning Mix
3 C Water
Susie Q (generous amount)
Carrots
Celery (chopped)
Yellow Potatoes (cut in half if too large)
Onion (chopped)
1 TBSP Oil
Turn the Ninja Foodi onto the saute function. Add oil. Completely season all sides of the roast. Add to hot oil and sear on all sides. About 4 minutes per side. Add Au Jus seasoning packet to water and mix together. Add to Ninja Foodi. Toss in onions, celery, potatoes, and carrots. Top with more Susie Q or your favorite all purpose steak seasoning. Turn on slow cooker function and cook for 4 hours or pressure cook on high for 1.5 hours with a slow release. That is it! Be careful, this roast might fall apart on you when pulling it out of the Ninja Foodi =)
