Alma Thomas was a talented 20th century American painter who lived and worked in Washington, D.C. She drew much of her inspiration from nature’s brilliant colors and varied perspectives.

Watch and learn how to make mosaics inspired by her 1969 work “Pansies in Washington.”

Required Materials:

Coasters
Wooden tray
Adhesive (Weldbond is recommended)
A selection of tiles
Grout powder
Glass bowl
Spoon
Paper bowl
Spackle scraper tool
Sponge
