One of the biggest mistakes aspiring tv music composers make is adding too much content. Most music for tv is very simple, after all it is usually in the background underneath dialogue. In this video I walk through a dramedy cue I wrote over three years ago, one that has seen multiple placements since then, and show the specific elements needed to create this genre.
