In this third video in our series on Creating Custom Fangs we teach you how to make a retainer to connect your fangs together. This is a sturdy method for securing the fangs together especially if the fangs don't stay in the mouth well, this is the best method for keeping the fangs in place. Jet Acrylic is a cold cure dental acrylic used for temporary bridges and such in the dental industry. It's the same material that was used to make your fangs.

Basic supplies you will need to make a pair of fangs.
1. dental alginate
2. disposable teeth tray
3. teeth shade dental acrylic powder
4. oil base clay (to sculpt teeth with)
5. a dermal tool with sanding bits

We also use a glaze to coat the fangs which is not recommend by some people as it is not tested to put into the mouth. For recommended dental materials visit the link below.
