This is the first of our three part series on Creating Severed Fingers. This video will teach you how to cast a finger using alginate then create an alginate finger to make a plaster mold. The final finger will be created in Latex which will be covered in the third video in this series, "Latex and Painting Fingers".

Liquid latex: Can be purchased at any costume store. Make sure you get the flesh colored liquid latex for best results.
