Chocolate Crinkle or Pixie Cookies

1/4 cup butter
4 squares (1 0z. each) of unsweetened chocolate
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips, or nuts
Powdered Sugar
In a glass bowl melt butter in the microwave for 15 seconds stir and microwave for another 15 seconds. Stir until smooth and set aside and let cool. In a large mixing bowl combine melted chocolate, 1 cup flour, sugar eggs, baking powder, and salt. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes scrape bowl and beat for another 2 minutes. Stirring by hand add the remaining flour and chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. or overnight.
Heat oven to 350*. Use a cookie scoop and shape dough into a round balls, and roll in powder sugar. Bake on a greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart for 12-15 minutes until firm let cool slightly and remove from the cookie sheet and cool completely on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container. Makes about 4 dozen cookies,
