I always believed that burnishing tools are overpriced so I made one for myself for just 3$ metal HSS steel rod and some scrap wood. The burnisher is an indispensable tool to create the hook on a scraper that will provide a crisp surface on your wood piece. So I encourage you to see the creating process of this homemade tool.
