This is my first run project with the New X-Carve that Inventables sent to me. In the next weeks I'll share more projectes showing some of the features of this CNC and also a honest review, comparing it with the old version.
This night stand made out of OSB and MDF comes very handy to hold my phone without loosing space from our bedroom. Its design keeps this piece of furniture stongly attached to the siderails of our bed. Design of the top piece come from one of the many features of Easel (free 3d carving software from Inventables), such a pattern generator that brings this nice polygon carved surface. Finally I painted the all V groves and the rest of the nightstand in flat paint white to pop up the beatiful top surface of the OSB.
