Bamieh is a sweet that is commonly sold together with Zolbia (in other countries known as Jilabi) during month of Ramadan. Today I decided to make some and open my fast eating them. In Iran we never made these at home since every confectionery sell them and it is easier to buy. Here some Turkish shops sell them but since a few years ago I decided to make it myself. It turns out not the best, but is okay. It is better to have the syrup a bit thicker (not like the one I made), but anyway for a boy this is already good.
